Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton announced a jury has convicted a Flint man on felony drug and weapons charges.

Fifty-two year old Anthony Jequinn Gray was found guilty of two counts of possession with intent to deliver cocaine and heroin, accepting the earnings of a prostitute, being a felon in possession of a firearm and felony firearm.

An investigation into the case began with reports of a missing woman who had been struggling with heroin and was suspected of being held against her will and used for prostitution by Gray. Officers with the Flint Area Narcotics Group (F.A.N.G.) were conducting surveillance of the defendant's home when a traffic stop was made of a vehicle leaving his residence. That traffic stop resulted in drugs being discovered in the car which led to a search warrant being obtained for the home in which more drugs, guns and two women working as prostitutes were found.

Gray is scheduled to be sentenced on March 31st.
