Art Van Furniture Employee Posts About ‘Chaotic’ Scene in Stores

It sounds like the employees don't even know what's going on, but they're handling it the best way that they can.

With the news on Thursday that Art Van Furniture stores would be closing indefinitely, there's been a lot of questions and not a lot of answers - employees know that they'll soon be without a job but, other than that, the information is sketchy at best.

Based on this post by an Art Van employee, it sounds as though they're just as frustrated as everybody else.

This just stinks all around. Private equity firms seem to ruin everything they can get their hands on. Everybody take a deep breath and be nice, please.
