Residents shared their last thoughts on the City of Flint's Master Plan at a planning commission meeting on Tuesday night.

The meeting was a culmination of more than 300 events and over 5,000 people in the past two years. According to MLive, the planning commission will meet again at 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 19 at the Riverfront Center to go through public comments from last night.

A draft master plan could be approved by the planning commission as soon as next Tuesday, October 22. It would then be forwarded to the Flint City Council for a similar vote.

The Master Plan is a 20-year blueprint that will direct decision making for future growth and development in the city.
