The 63 day public comment period for the City of Flint draft Master Plan ends Tuesday, October 15 with the Planning Commission Public Hearing.

The Imagine Flint draft master plan is a community road map that will guide the city over the next twenty years. In August, the Flint City Council unanimously approved circulation of the draft for a 63 day public comment period. Residents have been able to view the plan online at www.imagineflint.com and hard copies are available at 21 satellite locations across the city.

Megan Hunter, Chief Planning Officer for the City of Flint, said "this is more than a master plan, it's a community vision."

The City Planning Commission hearing is public and will be held at 6 p.m. in the City Council chambers.
