With temperatures soaring into the upper 90s and feeling like the 100s, Swartz Creek has a schedule that will help residents keep cool.

The city will be opening up hydrants and hoses from noon to 1 p.m., 3 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm today and tomorrow at 8100 Civic Drive in Swartz Creek.

There are also cooling centers open throughout Genesee County. Please be safe for the next few days; don't suffer through this dangerous heat. Make sure you check on your neighbors, too.
