After being long rumored to play Duke in this coming winter's Big Ten/ACC Challenge, Michigan State's men's basketball team will play Louisville at the Breslin Center this December.

The two schools last played each other in the 2018 Big Ten/ACC Challenge, which Louisville won in overtime.

The Spartans are coming off a 15-13 campaign, and a loss to UCLA in the First Four of the NCAA Tournament.  Louisville finished 13-7 this past season, and just missed the NCAA Tournament.

With legendary Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski retiring after next season, it had been talked about for months that the Blue Devils would come to East Lansing to play the Spartans.  But they'll play another high-level program, Louisville, instead.
