Michigan Firemen Run Gas Station After Clerk Goes to ER – The Good News
The firemen waited on five different customers while they were behind the counter.
Kent County first responders were called to a Mobil gas station in Lowell Township after the night clerk started to feel ill. The clerk was working alone and called his manager, telling her that he needed to go to the hospital.
EMT and firefighters responded to the call and took the man away in an ambulance but there was one problem - the new employee hadn't shown up yet to relieve him of his clerk duties. So, three of the firemen stayed behind and worked the register.
The manager told them that they didn't have to stay, but the firefighters were having such a good time that they didn't mind. They told Fox 17 that the hardest part was pre-paid gas. The employee returned in good health.
