It Might Snow in Michigan on Halloween Next Week

My favorite memes that go around this time of the year are about how all of us Midwestern kids had to wear winter jackets over our Halloween costumes when we were growing up.

Well, it looks like our kids will be able to continue the tradition of complaining - the preliminary forecast looks like snow next week, particularly on Thursday and Friday. Thursday is Halloween.

First of all, don't panic - this is NOT the start of winter, according to meteorologists. We'll see 50+ degree temps into November; this is just a quick, cold blast. And it's likely that said snow won't stick, since temperatures will be near 50.
