Flint Local UAW 598 Collects Toys for Tots – The Good News

On behalf of the Flint community, THANK YOU!

At their union meeting yesterday, members of Flint Local UAW 598 unveiled the mountain of toys that they had purchased through popcorn sales and monetary donations, over $15,000 worth. And all of the items will be donated to Toys for Tots.

Last Wednesday, members had their 10th annual "Bring a Toy to Work Day." And throughout the year, they have popcorn sales that culminate in yesterday's donation. After the meeting, all of the toys were loaded into a U-Haul and taken to the Toys for Tots headquarters on Saginaw St.
