A Genesee County Commissioner has said that all dogs recovered from a suspected dog-fighting operation in Flint have had to be put down.

According to MLive, Genesee County Miles Gadola said "all those animals needed to be euthanized due to the viciousness of those dogs."

The dogs, training equipment and steroids were seized at two sites on the city's north side by authorities on Tuesday.

Genesee County Sheriff Robert J Pickell told MLive that one home was used to breed the dogs while the second home was used for training. He suspects the dogs were being sold for fighting purposes.
