Please do not come to our studios today, as we have a fallen tree and downed power lines blocking the road to the building.

At around 2:30p today, the wind toppled a tree that fell across our driveway and took out some power lines. We are unsure as to when the situation will resolved, so we are closing our offices to the public until further notice, which will most likely be Monday, December 2nd. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you were planning on coming here to pick up prizes or certificates, please make arrangements to do so on another day. As you know, downed power lines are extremely dangerous and we can not stress enough that approaching them could be fatal, as stated in this warning from the Electrical Safety Foundation:

Downed power lines can carry an electric current strong enough to cause serious injury or even death. The ground around power lines – up to 35 feet away - may be energized. You cannot tell whether or not a power line is energized just by looking at it. You should assume that all downed power lines are live.
