There's an App To Hire People for Snow Removal in Michigan

It's like Uber for snow removal and we are HERE for it.

An app has been developed in Grand Rapids and is quickly gaining users all over the state - it's called Quikplow and yes, you can use it here in Genesee County.

The app was created by four Michiganders who all graduated from colleges here in the mitt, including Central Michigan University and Michigan State. You can sign up for the app to HIRE people, or to provide plowing/shoveling services.

And there's quite a bit of money in it - over 1,800 people signed up for the app this past weekend, and one guy made $336 off of seven jobs.

Personally, I'm a little peeved that this came out NOW after we finally invested in a snowblower, but it's still a great idea.
