Michigan Soldier Breaks Guinness World Record for Most Burpees
Better him than me!
While I floated around my pool on Sunday, Bryan Abell of Milford was doing burpees for 12 straight hours to break a Guinness World Record.
It was for a good cause, though.
His goal was 4,500 and he finished about 1,800 more than that. It was all for the Stronger Warrior Foundation, which sends crates of supplies to troops overseas.
I don't know if you've ever attempted a burpee, but they're HARD. No joke. The fact that this guy could do them for 12 hours straight is an inhuman feat, and he absolutely deserves the Guinness World Record for it. Congrats, Bryan!
