ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting, via his Twitter account on Tuesday morning, that the Detroit Lions have let go of backup QB Josh Johnson (pictured).

Multiple media outlets are reporting that the Lions have signed former Cincinnati Bengals backup QB Jeff Driskel to replace Johnson.  The team also has rookie QB David Blough on the roster.  The Lions traded for Blough at the end of this year's preseason (with the Cleveland Browns).

The Lions are 1-0-1 on the young season and are at the Philadelphia Eagles next Sunday.
