Kettering University continues their tradition in 2014 bringing provocative films to Flint. The Global Issues Film Festival is also sponsored by Mott Community College and UM-Flint. This event is free of charge and will be held at Kettering University located in the Academic Building on University and Chevrolet Avenues. The Global Issues Film Festival will be on January 29 -  February 1, 2014. The films that will be shown are:

  • Nuclear Savage on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 7pm
  • The Light Bulb Conspiracy on Thursday, January 30, 7pm
  • Forks Over Knives on Friday January 31, 7pm
  • Shift Change on Saturday February 1, 1pm
  • Burning in the Sun on Saturday February 1, 2:30pm.

The films are from independent filmmakers from around the globe, representing a variety of voices and view points. This is a fun and free event you don't want to miss!
