Genesee County Commissioner to Hold Public Forum On Fracking

Genesee County 9th District Commissioner Pegge Adams is offering an informational meeting for citizens who wish to learn more about fracking. Adams says the reasons for the forum is individuals in Genesee County's Ninth District have been approached to sign mineral rights leases. Once the leases are signed they are not easily broken. To get a complete understanding about these leases join Commissioner Adams at the Forum On Fracking on Friday March 21, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Forest Township Hall. There will be different panelists including State Representative Sarah Roberts who will give an overview and legislative update, Shaun Lehman a geologist from the Department of Environmental Quality and Linda Berker an attorney who will present on property owner's rights.
