
Flint School District to Hold Special Meeting on Revised Deficit Elimination Plan
The Flint School District will host a special meeting tonight (7/30) to discuss their plan to get of nearly $21 million in debt. According to ABC 12, the district must submit its revised deficit elimination plan to the Michigan Department of Education by Thursday. An audit last November showed the district to be about $10 million in debt. However, a new report last month showed the debt to be twice as much.
