Even though there are some car companies that are leaving Michigan some are coming back or expanding in the state, one of those is Fiat Chrysler. According to WILX, Fiat Chrysler says it plans to add to their workforce and also make a $4.5 billion investment in their plant in Detroit. The plant in Detroit will also be the one that will add about 6,500 people to their workforce.

They are adding to their workforce and making that investment as they will convert a closed engine plant and another closed plant into this new one. The new plant will be building new or next generation Jeep Grand Cherokee, along with a new Jeep SUV and plug-in hybrid models.

This plan has the governor's approval and you can see more about it here, from WILX your news and weather authority.
