Crim Fitness Foundation Giving Free Caps, Gowns to Flint Students

Another great reason to be part of (or donate to) the Crim in Flint!

The Crim Fitness Foundation has received two grants of $2,000 each from the Community Foundation of Greater Flint and United Way of Genesee County and, as announced yesterday, will use them to provide free caps and gowns to Southwestern Classical Academy students.

Community organizations reached out to Flint students and families to find out what they need help with and graduation costs were identified as an issue. The Crim Fitness Foundation has set up the Flint Community Education Graduation Fund to help out with this.

It will help to cover everything from caps, gowns, prom tickets, senior dues, yearbooks and more.
