The Boys & Girls Club of greater Flint is teaming up with area businesses this weekend to help those in need. Along with partners Comcast and the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, the Club will conduct a food distribution with a goal of feeding 200 families in need. The project is staffed by local volunteers from Comcast as a part of their annual Comcast Cares Day.

Bob Nelson, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Flint, said "Comcast Cares Day is a wonderful project which brings much needed support to the Club and the community every year. We're so glad this year we can incorporate the food giveaway, with the help from the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, and look forward to many more years of collaboration with both partners."

Food will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis until it is all distributed beginning at 10 a.m. The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Flint will be distributing the food from their Averill Avenue Unit located at 3701 N. Averill Avenue in Flint.
