An upcoming walk will raise funds to build free book exchanges around the city. According to NBC 25, the Flint Zombie Walk will contribute the funds raised in this year's event to build little free libraries around the city. The libraries will allow people to borrow, take and donate books for others to read. The organizer of the walk, Kristina Lakey, says the libraries will be built in the spring and residents can sign up to have one of the receptacles in their yards. There are already nine to twelve free little free libraries in the area. The zombie walk is scheduled for October 4th in downtown Flint.
