It was the sweetest moment I've seen on 'Jeopardy!' in a very long time. Last night (11/11), Alex Trebek was visibly moved when a contestant dedicated his Final Jeopardy question to the longtime game show host.

"What is, we love you, Alex?" Dhruv Gaur wrote, with a heart symbol in place of the word love. He obviously didn't know the answer, er, question that he should have written down.

"Oh, that's very kind," Trebek said as his voice began to crack. "Thank you."

Trebek was obviously moved by the Brown University student's response. "Cost ya $1,995," he said as he fought tears. "You're left with five bucks."

The play ended Gaur's run on Jeopardy's Tournament of Champions, but the clip (below) instantly spread on the Internet, with the hashtag #WeLoveYouAlex quickly trending on Twitter.

In March of this year, Trebek announced that he is fighting stage four pancreatic cancer. He' served as host of 'Jeopardy' since 1984.
