He saved five lives with his donation and he'll never even know it.

Chace Numata, a catcher for the Double-A Lake Erie SeaWolves, was critically injured in a skateboarding accident last week and lost his life on September 2nd. The Hawaii native signed a minor league contract with the Tigers last fall, and was called the "heart and soul" of the Seawolves.

His family came to the mainland from the island and decided to donate the 27-year-old's organs at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Erie. The staff and his family gathered for an honor walk while playing his favorite song, KC & The Sunshine Band’s 'Give it Up' in the background.

There's a GoFundMe to help his family with his outstanding medical bills. While they've already reached their goal, you can still donate here.
