Taco Bell Dumping Doritos Locos Tacos and Other Beloved Menu Items

I love Taco Bell, but sometimes it feels like I'm in an abusive relationship with them. This is one of those times.

Being in love with Taco Bell is a frustrating existence, mostly due to their willingness to change at the drop of a hat. It seems like at least twice a year, they gift us with some new menu item that we love, only to rip it away from us after a month and say, "that's over now. Time to move on." It's not fair.

Memorable examples of their fleeting benevolence include the Naked Chicken Chalupa, Nacho Fries, Chicken Chips, the Toasted Cheddar Chalupa (we Stan a legend), the Quesalupa, the Baja option for all Chalupas, and of course the long-mourned Chili Cheese Burrito... And now they're adding some new items to the in memoriam reel.

I still haven't figured out how to break the news of the Cool Ranch DLT to my boys. They love them. Lawd Jesus, help me find the strength before they kill these menu items on September 12th.
