Swartz Creek Middle School Student Has Been Missing Since Friday

A Swartz Creek family hopes you can help them find a 13-year-old girl who went missing Friday.

Essence is a 13-year-old African American female who attends Swartz Creek Middle School. Her family posted on Facebook that she did not get off the bus Friday afternoon (2/28).

Essence's last known location is a friend's house near the intersection of Linden and Maple Roads. Her family reports that she was last seen at approximately 4:45 pm.

Anyone with information about Essence is asked to contact Swartz Creek or Flint Township police.
