Remains Found in Michigan Could be Missing Teen from 1989 [VIDEO]

A man currently being held in Virginia for another murder has allegedly confessed to killing a West Michigan teen 30 years ago.

Aundria Bowman went missing in 1989 at the age of 14. Her mother, Cathy Terkanian, says that an Allegan County detective told her that Dennis Bowman confessed to the girl's murder.

Bowman, Aundria's adoptive father, told investigators to look for a shallow grave on a piece of property in West Michigan. Authorities discovered remains which they believe to be human on the property on Wednesday. (2/5)

It may take several weeks for investigators to positively identify the remains as that of the missing girl.
