Good luck, Byron! You've got support from the rest of us Michiganders.

HGTV is definitely going big instead of going home - they're looking for a town to makeover. Yes, an entire town.

The requirements are actually pretty simple: the town must have a population of 40,000 or less, contain homes with "great architecture" and be in need of a Main Street-type renovation.

The town of Byron is about 30 minutes west of Flint, and they've thrown their hat in the ring to get HGTV's Small Town Makeover.

The deadline for entries ended on February 4th so, if you were thinking of entering YOUR small town, you're out of luck until the next run of the show which will debut in 2021.

Good luck, Byron!
