If you have ever been hospitalized, you know how much a visit from a friend or family member means. Visiting someone in the hospital is much different these days due to COVID-19 situation. If visitors are allowed at all, it is one person at a time in most Michigan hospitals.

If you want to show someone currently hospitalized how much they are loved, you have to get creative, and that is exactly what some of Oxford High School athletic trainers did this past week to show love and support for one of the Oxford High School shooting victims Kylie Ossege. According to The Detroit News, the group stood outside of the hospital holding signs and tennis rackets (the 17-year-old is a member of the school tennis team).

As you will see in the video below, it was an emotional moment for Kylie. You can hear the group cheering and sending her good wishes. The teen athlete has been moved out of intensive care but will remain hospitalized for the next month or so.

I cannot even imagine what this young girl is going through, and I hope these types of visits don't stop for her. Shout out to all of the athletic trainers, friends, and family that took part in this visit. It has certainly struck a chord with people, the video has well over 8000 likes.

If you know Kylie Ossege, let her know we are all thinking of her and wishing her all the best.
