Overwhelmed Reporter Terrorized by Cicada Invasion
Katya Leick, crack reporter for KSNT, in Tokepa, Kan., has met her match.
While working on a story about Fort Riley, Leick was disturbed by some rather pesky cicadas.
After the traditional 17-year break, the creatures re-emerged, wreaking havoc on Leick, who lost her cool while trying to do a standup for her story.
The cicadas, which only live about two months, are not considered dangerous. Annoying? Well, that's a whole other matter altogether.
We think it may take Leick 17 years to get over the trauma of what she just experienced.
