Nighttime lane closures on US-23 in Genesee County got underway on Monday night. According to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), this $530,000 road improvement project includes pavement repairs between Thompson and Rolston roads near Fenton. MDOT says motorists should expect single-lane closures at night. The project is expected to last until mid-June.
