MI Man Arrested After Dancing Naked On Highway While Holding a Gun

Drivers in Northern Michigan got an eye full this week while driving along US-131 in Wexford County.

Imagine you're driving down the highway when all of a sudden you see a man waving a gun and dancing naked in the middle of the road. That's a sight no one wants to see.

Well, that's exactly what happened to people driving on southbound US-131 just passed mile marker 187 in Wexford County.

According to MLive, A 46-year-old man from Rapid City was seen by many people while he danced naked and did push-ups with a 9mm handgun on the side of the highway in Wexford County. That's one disturbing image, right?

As you can imagine, 911 received a bunch of calls from drivers that couldn't believe what they were seeing. I sure hope they release the audio from those calls, they had to be hilarious.

We can laugh at little at the situation now since no one was hurt.

The man apparently had a valid concealed pistol license and manually emptied the ammunition from the gun prior to police arriving on the scene.

Michigan State Police eventually arrived on the scene and arrested the naked gun wielding dancer.

The man obviously had some mental issues going on so police had him transported by ambulance to a hospital in Cadillac for a mental health evaluation.

We joke a bit about cases like this because it sounds funny at first but in all seriousness, mental illness is a huge issue in this country. Hopefully this man can get the help that is needed.
