Meet Sweet Sophie at Genesee County Animal Control!

She's only two and she's ready for YOU to adopt her!

Ladies and gents, meet Sophie. She's a super sweet 2-year old would love a home where she can be the center of your world! She is a great protector over her companion so she would do great in a home with a single person. Sophie was in a foster home so we got to get to know her pretty well but it’s her time to find her forever home.

Best case scenario for Sophie:
🔸Be the only animal to give her time to decompress from shelter life
🔸Would prefer adult conversation and interaction
🔸A home where she can snuggle in bed and hide in the covers
🔸A home with lots of toys including her squeaky pig
🔸Would love to go on some adventure walks and car rides
🔸 A patient companion that will help gain her trust

Sophie has come so far and just needs the right home and the right person - a compassionate, caring individual that sees what her foster home sees in her:  a sweet, loving girl that just needs a chance.

She's already fixed, vaccinated and ready to go home! She has recovered from heartworm treatment and went through it like a champ.

* Shelter hours are Tues-Fri 12-5 and Sat 10-1 for adoptions. Must make an appointment.
