Not all heroes wear capes - she's been there since 3:30 this morning.

There's something so old school and magical about waking up early to get in line for a store opening, concert tickets, Black Friday sales, etc. And that's exactly what Jennifer from Goodrich did today - she rolled out of bed in the middle of the night and bundled up for the grand opening of Aldi in Grand Blanc.

Jennifer is a stay-at-home mom of five who decided to take the day off from bow hunting to park in front of the store. The grand opening is at 8:30 this morning; the first 100 customers receive a golden ticket which offers gift cards in different increments. Customers are also entered into a sweepstakes to win free produce for a year.

And the ALDI cult is a very real thing - I got a text this morning from one of good friends in Milwaukee, who's part of an ALDI "nerds" Facebook group. Small world, right?

Somebody get me one of those Christmas cat houses since I'm at work and can't stand in line. Kaythanks. ;)
