The Michigan Department of Transportation is inviting the public to attend an informational meeting regarding proposed improvements on M-15 in the city of Davison.

According to a news release from MDOT, the meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to meet with MDOT staff and ask questions about the project which is scheduled to begin in mid-October. Planned work includes resurfacing two miles from Davison Road to Potter Road, widening to make room for a center left-turn lane, pavement joint repairs, drainage improvements and more. After work begins next month, it will be suspended for the winter and resume in the spring. It's scheduled to be completed by late July 2015.

The meeting is being held on Tuesday, September 23rd from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the MDOT Davison Transportation Service Center located at 9495 E. Potter Road. Anyone with questions is asked to call (810) 658-4029 ext. 307.
