She's like Flint's own pint-size Greta Thunberg!

Mari Copeny, aka Little Miss Flint, has been a vocal activist about the Flint water crisis since it started back in 2014. As we all know too well, the crisis isn't over, even though the media circus has left town.

Mari knows that, and that's why she's started an online campaign for a state-of-the-art water filtration system for those affected by the crisis in our community.

The company she's partnering with is called Hydroviv. It's a start-up that appeared on Shark Tank; they create filtration systems that remove lead from water and donate them to communities who need them.

Her online campaign originally had a goal of $100,000 but it's already exceeded $130K. Their new goal is $150,000. And now, as the news has shown us, other cities throughout the country (cough cough Newark, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee) are having problems with lead in their water.

Get it get it, Mari! Keep doing what you do best!
