Hurley Children's Hospital has won $20,000 after voting was suspended in a nationwide contest. Credit Union Direct announced on Monday that Hurley, along with Salt Lake City's Primary Children's Hospital, would each receive $20,000 after there was a glitch in voting. CU Direct spokesman Bill Meyer said the overwhelming participation in the contest led to the decision to award the prize to both of the top vote getters.

In addition, Hurley will receive another $20,000 from Dr. Alan Klein, a pediatric dentist who said he would match the money if Hurley were to win the contest.
