Hurley Children’s Hospital Adopts ‘Fight Song’ As Anthem for Kids Fighting for Life [VIDEO]
"This is MY Fight Song" and "I've still got a lot of fight left in me" read signs held by patients at Hurley Children's Hospital in a video scored by the Rachel Platten hit 'Fight Song.'
The touching video has racked up close to 200,000 views on Hurley's Facebook page, and has been shared by thousands. It features young patients fighting leukemia, kidney cancer, sickle cell anemia, and other life threatening diseases.
The words to Platten's 'Fight Song' come to life when paired with patients, parents, and Hurley staffers.
"This song has become an anthem of sorts for our children, families, and staff here at Hurley Children's Hospital. We want these kids to know we are standing behind them every step of the way on their journey," Linda Tracy-Stephens, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Director at Hurley Children's Hospital tells Mlive.
