Graves Encourages Residents to Go Fishing this Weekend
Residents across the state are encouraged to get out and take advantage of Michigan Free Fishing Weekend.
Michigan Free Fishing Weekend allows residents and out-of-state visitors to enjoy Michigan fishing at no cost. All fishing license fees will be waived for Saturday and Sunday allowing people to fish Michigan rivers, streams and the inland and Great lakes.
State Representative Joe Graves, R-ArgentineTownship, says "we have a wealth of lake, rivers and streams that hold plenty of fish. This weekend offers up a perfect opportunity to take a fishing trip with friends or family members, or to take children or grandchildren on their first fishing trip.
