State Representative Joe Graves will host a town hall meeting this week to discuss the ET Rover gas pipeline that has been proposed to run through part of Genesee County.

In announcing the town hall, Graves, a Republican from argentine Township, said he was disappointed in the informational meeting the natural gas pipeline company conducted last month and wants to give residents a chance to let their concerns be heard or if there have been any new developments. "We have questions, and ET Rover is not giving us answers," said Graves. He added some of the concerns range from property damage from the pipeline construction to how it will affect property values.

Graves said company representatives from the pipeline company have so far been non-committal on his invitations to take part in the public forum. However, a representative from the Michigan Public Service Commission at the meeting to give a broad outline of property owners rights.

The town hall will run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15th at the Holly High School auditorium located at 6161 E. Holly Road in Holly.
