GM Has Best Quarter In 6 Years

General Motors seems to be earning profits despite trying to emerge from bankruptcy, say CNN Money.

GM reported it earned $1.96 billion in the quarter, compared to a loss a year earlier when it was still in the process of emerging from bankruptcy. It's the third straight quarter that the automaker has reported a profit after a string of losses that date back to the start of 2005.
