Fiat Chrysler is bringing 2,000 jobs to Michigan with its plans to invest $1 Billion in new plants in Michigan and Ohio.

During the North American International Auto Show on Sunday Fiat Chrysler announced it will be building new plants in Michigan and Ohio. The investment will cost $1 Billion and will create more than 2,000 jobs in Michigan and Ohio.

The move comes right after Ford announced its plans to invest in American plants by canceling its build of a new Mexico plant and instead create 700 new jobs in the United States.

Fiat Chrysler invested over $9.6 Billion in manufacturing in the United States and created 25,000 jobs since 2009.
