A Flint woman has plead guilty to the 2013 murder at the Palm Tree Lounge.

According to a news release from the Genesee County Prosecutor's Office, Michelle Eleen McIntosh, 25, plead guilty in Genesee County Circuit Court to Second Degree Murder and Assault with Intent to Murder related to the April 2013 shooting at the Palm Tree Lounge on Clio Road in Flint. McIntosh shot and killed 22-year-old Havana Wright and wounded a security guard when an altercation inside the club carried out into the parking lot. McIntosh fled the area after the shooting and was later arrested in Texas before being extradited back to Michigan.

This was the second trial for McIntosh. A jury had convicted her on firearm charges in January, but had been unable to come to a decision on the murder and assault charges. The agreement allowed her to plead guilty to the amended charge of second degree murder along with the original assault charge and stipulates a minimum of 27 years in prison. McIntosh is scheduled to be sentenced in July.
