Flint residents could see water discoloration as a result of a large water main break that occurred on Tuesday.

According to a news release, Department of Public Works crews are working to contain the break in a 24 inch water main. The work may cause discoloration for customers in eastern areas of the city. Running the faucet for a few moments should clear up the discoloration. Officials say that due to the size and location of the main, repairs could take longer than usual and they will continue to give updates to the community.
