A Flint man has been sentenced to life in prison for the killing of a nine-year-old boy who witnessed him kill two other men.
According to NBC 25, Genesee County Circuit Court Judge Archie Hayman handed out the sentence to 19-year-old Deonte Gray on Monday. A jury had convicted him in January in the July 2013 shootings of nine-year-old Trashawn Macklin, 25-year-old James R. Allen JR. and 22-year-old Akkem Easterling. The killings reportedly began with a dispute between Gray and Easterling at Park West Apartments.
