First ‘Operation: Fresh Start’ of 2015 Announced
The first 'Operation: Fresh Start' event of 2015 has been announced.
The campaign aims to help those with non-felony, misdemeanor warrants for crimes punishable by no more than 90 days in jail and no more than a $500 fine. DUI or related offenses, child support offenses and felonies are not covered during the event. Residents are also asked to bring a form of identification with them.
This is the third 'Operation: Fresh Start' event. The last two in July and Spetember helped more than 100 people clear outstanding warrants and receive help in applying for a driver's license, employment, health care and other information.
This particular date, January 5th, is for residents in the 48506 zip code. It will be held from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Grace Emmanuel Baptist Church located at 3502 Lapeer Road in Flint.
