Dad of Murdered Daughter Attacks Killer in Michigan Court [Video]

A grieving dad attacking his 3-year-old daughter's killer in a Michigan courtroom was caught on video.

According to Fox News, Dwayne Smith was in the courtroom to give a victim's impact statement in the sentencing of his daughter's mother, Jasmine Gordon, and her boyfriend, Clifford Thomas. Both Thomas and Gordon had been convicted of involuntary manslaughter of 3-year-old Jamila Smith's death who was being watched by Thomas in Septmeber 2014 while Smith was at work. Jamila was taken to the hospital with blunt force trauma injuries and pronounced dead on arrival.

As you can see in the video, Smith was able to punch Thomas in the head before deputies separated the men. Personally, I feel that Thomas was lucky to have the deputies intervene. It should have been much worse for him. (Side note: He was later sentenced to 7-15 years on the manslaughter charge and 14-25 years for first degree child abuse)
