Don't get your costume in a bunch - Halloween is DEFINITELY not canceled this year.

If you haven't been to Ghosts & Goodies yet at Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad, what are you waiting for? A drive-thru?

If the answer is, "yes, I was absolutely waiting for the opportunity to drive-thru Crossroads Village," you're in luck - that's the plan for Halloween 2020.

Genesee County Parks has announced their plans for Halloween Ghosts & Goodies and unlike most of the other events in the world right now, it is NOT canceled. Instead, it's going to be a drive-boo...er, I mean, drive-thru.

And this year, there are weekday opportunities as well.

The drive-thru will be open starting on the weekend of October 3-4 froom 5-9 PM and will continue on the weekends of 10-11th, 17-18th, 24-25th, and the 31st. Yes, Halloween is on a Saturday this year and we are SO. FREAKING. EXCITED.

Can't make it on a weekend? You can drive-thru on weekdays from 5 – 9pm on October 9th, 16th, 23th, and the 28-30th.

According to the Genesee County Parks website, the drive-thru will take about 30 minutes and will come at a cost of $20 per car. Each car will receive a goody bag with their admission. Be prepared for a long wait-time to get in, of course. Tickets will NOT be sold in advance.

Not only is this a great way to have their Halloween event during the pandemic, but it's also great for those who are handicapped or have trouble walking. AJ's mom is disabled so that's something I've taken more notice of over the years.

We're going to talk to Genesee County Parks Director Barry June on the morning show tomorrow (9/9) at 7:30 AM, so make sure you download the app to listen live on your phone.
