A community forum is being held tonight (May 18) on ten ways to beat the lead crisis.

The forum will be moderated by E. Yvonne Lewis, CEO of the National Center for African American Health Consciousness. Panelists include Erin Caudell, co owner of The Local Grocer; Lisa Hagel, Superintendent of the Genesee Intermediate School District; Isaiah Oliver, Vice President of Community Impact at the Community Foundation; Matthew Purcell, Executive Director at Genesee County Community Action and Patrick W. Sanders from Fresh Start CDC and pastor at New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church.

The forum - put on by the Flint Area Public Affairs Forum - is being held in the general reading room of the Flint Public Library and begins at 5:30 p.m. It's free and open to the public with refreshments provided.
