Australian Grocery Stores Give Seniors & Disabled Their Own Shopping Hours
Hopefully, this will catch on in the United States.
Woolworths and the supermarket chain IGA in Australia is making moves during the coronavirus outbreak - they're opening specifically for senior citizens and people with disabilities in the early hours of the morning.
First of all, OMG they still have Woolworths in Australia?!?!
This is such a great idea. I went grocery shopping on Friday, which is my usual day anyways, and the stores were INSANE. No bread, soup, pasta, water, toilet paper, etc. And seeing senior citizens struggle against the crowds was heartbreaking. Hopefully, we can start this here in the US.
