After a drop last week that brought the statewide average gas price to under $2 per gallon, Michigan drivers will see an increase of about 14 cents this week. Michigan's current statewide average is about $2.12 per gallon.

Of the ten areas in Michigan surveyed by AAA for self-serve unleaded fuel prices, the lowest prices can be found in the Traverse City area where it's about $2.09 per gallon. The highest averages can be found in the Ann arbor area where it's about $2.14 per gallon. As of Sunday, gas prices in and around Flint were $2.10 a gallon.

AAA says prices are fluctuating as the supply of summer blend gasoline continues to make its way to pumps nationwide. However, there is an increase in domestic gasoline inventories and just in time for the summer driving season, additional supply is also expected to enter the market. AAA says the market is poised to be well supplied as the busy summer driving season begins and barring any major disruptions or shortages, pump prices may remain relatively steady in the coming weeks.
